Cooking Instructions

Wash sweet potato and boil in the cooker for up to 3 whistles. When sweet potatoes cool down then peel and grate them.

Keep one kadai on flame add 1 to 2 teaspoon desi ghee when the ghee is tempered add grated sweet potato saute a little now add sugar, cardamom powder, and charoli saute until sugar is mixed with the sweet potato and the mixture become dry then turn off the flame. Keep the mixture for cooling.

Take one vessel and pour a little water, oil, and pinch of salt mix well now add whole wheat flour and prepare a soft dough. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Now take a small portion of the dough and roll it in a small circle shape keep some sweet potato mixture cover and seal from all sides. Roll it using a rolling pin, apply wheat flour as required, and prepare medium-sized poli.

Keep one tawa on Gas keep the flame on medium heat, let it warm now keep poli on tawa, Roast poli from both the sides without ghee then apply Desi ghee on both sides again and roast fully. Sweet potato puran poli is ready to serve. Serve with Milk or as a sweet dish at Lunch or dinner.
