Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 3-4Good Quality Chicken Breast Fillets *skin removed, about 500 to 600g
  2. Salt a few pinches
  3. 1-2 tablespoonsSake
  4. 1 cloveGarlic *grated
  5. Potato Starch Flour as required
  6. 2 tablespoonsCanola Oil OR Vegetable Oil
  7. 1Spring Onion *finely chopped
  8. Toasted Sesame Seeds
  9. Sauce
  10. 2 tablespoonsSoy Sauce
  11. 1 tablespoonSugar
  12. 1 tablespoonMirin
  13. 1-2 tablespoonsRice Vinegar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Slice Chicken Breast Fillets so that all pieces are about same thickness. Relatively thin pieces are recommended because they can cook quickly. Cut to smaller pieces if you like or you might prefer large pieces.

  2. 2

Sprinkle with the Salt evenly, add Sake and grated Garlic and massage, then let them marinated for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.

  4. 4

Coat the Chicken pieces with Potato Starch Flour. This layer of flour will turn to jelly-like when combined with the sauce.

  5. 5

Heat Oil in a frying pan over a high heat, and cook Chicken until slightly browned. It won’t take long to cook.

  6. 6

When Chicken are cooked, reduce heat to medium, add the sauce. As the sauce thickens, turn the Chicken pieces over and combine both sides with the sauce.

  7. 7

Sprinkle chopped Spring Onions and Sesame Seeds on top and serve.
