Cooking Instructions
- 1
add everything but the bbq sauce to a crock pot. fyi for my beer I used Coors light. any beer will do, since it's just for flavor
- 2
cook the meat on high until the thermometer pops out. remove the thermometer and return to the crock pot for a few hours until the meat pulls apart easily.
- 3
drain the liquid from the roast. you can keep the chopped onions in with the roast if you wish
- 4
pull apart the roast with two forks. it's better to leave the roast in the pot, so it doesn't make as big of a mess.
- 5
add your bbq sauce and cook on low for about an hour
- 6
serve on your preference of bun or roll

I had this dish back in 1994 when I was studying in Brisbane. I used to go to my favourite chinese restaurant in Fortitute Valley. 17 years later I came back to Brisbane and found out that the restaurant has been closed. I tried to deconstructed the recipe and finally after many attempts I found a recipe for this dish! happy days!#chinesefood #asianfood #chineserestaurantmenu #beefeyefillet #carrot #whitevinegar #drysherry #darksoysauce #sesameoil #dinner #lunch #chinese #cookpadrecipe #recipe #cooking #cook #minne #foodblogger #chef #handmade #homecooking #coopadtv #yummyrecipe #foodie #tasty #delicious #foodies #yummy #taste #cookingathome #cookpadcommunity #foodlovers #chefathome #cookpad #cookpadlovers Santy Coy -

This Mexican shredded beef holds a TON of flavor! Tender, fall apart beef in a rich sauce to make restaurant-quality shredded beef tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, or rice bowls. I make mine in a crock pot. Helen Klassen -
