Ingredients

  1. 1 cupyellow moong dal
  2. 1 1/2 tspbesan
  3. 1/2 tspgrated ginger
  4. 1/4 tsppomogranate seed powder (anardana)
  5. 1/4 tspamchur powder
  6. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1/4 tspgaram masala powder
  8. 1/4 tsphaldi
  9. 2green chillies finely chopped
  10. 1carrot finely chopped
  11. 1small boiled potato
  12. 1 tbspcoriander leaves chopped
  13. to tastesalt
  14. oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak the dal for 15-20 mins.

    In a vessel boil dal by adding salt and haldi.

  3. 3

    Cook it till each grain is soft but not overcooked.

  4. 4

    Strain and remove excess water.

  5. 5

    Spread the dal in a plate and allow it to cool.

    In a bowl, add mashed potatoes ; dal, carrot and all the above ingredients.

    Mix and make a soft dough.

    Adjust the taste.

    Give the shape of kebabs.

    Heat oil in a kadai.

    Fry kebabs till golden brown and crispy.

    Serve hot with tomato sauce and green chutney.
