Cooking Instructions

Put flour into a bowl. Add in sugar, salt, lemon zest and mix.

Add in blue band and mix to get some thing like bread crumbs.

Add in the eggs and milk while kneading. Knead to form a soft dough. Allow to rest for a a few minutes.

Heat oil for deep frying. Then roll out the mandazi into 0.5 cm thick and cut into small squares.

Deep fry until golden brown. Allow to dry then serve.
