The measurements in this recipe are approximate. I just kind of eyeball it. It's hard to go wrong, really. Easy peasy!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 300°F
- 2
Line a 13×9 baking dish with aluminum foil.
- 3
Add the ribs to the pan. Season with salt, pepper, and minced onion.
- 4
Add as much BBQ sauce as you like to the ribs. Just make sure they are nice and covered all over.
- 5
Sprinkle a little apple cider vinegar over the top and mix it around in the sauce (this step is optional).
- 6
Sprinkle some brown sugar over everything (I do a few decent sized pinches).
- 7
Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
- 8
Remove from oven, uncover, and if necessary, remove any excess liquid that may be covering the ribs. Just so tops are exposed.
- 9
Cook for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.
- 10
Remove to serving platter and baste with additional barbecue sauce.
- 11
Dig in!

Slow Cooker Barbecued Ribs Slow Cooker Barbecued Ribs
Every summer when I was home during college and then my early 20s, I would make ribs at least once a summer. It was a summer staple in my house. But the heat from the oven, combined with the summer heat & humidity, made it unbearable in my house.Time passes and I stop making the ribs during the summer, leaving it for the cooler months. Even after I got a place with an AC, I did not dare to make ribs during the summer.Fast forward to a year ago when we bought our slow cooker. A long time friend suggested that I should try to make my ribs in the slow cooker. It took me almost a year, but I finally tried it.I checked out a few recipes, but they all said to broil them for a few minutes after they were done in the slow cooker. We may have a good AC now, but I refuse to put the oven on ever during the summer. Taking the chance, I did not put them .in the slow cooker. Trust me when I say this, the ribs do not need to be put into the oven. They are fall off the bone delicious.Serve with sauteed/steamed/grilled vegetables, potato/macaroni salad, corn, corn bread, macaroni & cheese, etc.Enjoy! J.A.B. -
