This is a super yummy Indian street food, made with corn. In India locally available corn is not very sweet like sweet corn. So this dish tastes best made with local indian variety. As we do not get that here in Japan so I have modified the recipe to use sweet corn kernels and corn grits to get that same flavor and taste. Do give it a try. Ashwini -

Prawn coconut pulao Prawn coconut pulao
The recipe today that I will share with you all is inspired by an iconic Bengali actress Satabdi roy. We Bengalis cannot imagine our Sunday meal without non vegetarian food and prawns top the list (among many) in that and I loved her recipe incredibly when I saw it in a cookery show. Eventually as my hubby says it has become a signature dish at my home. Also I must mention it brings back nostalgia for my hubby dear as prawn pulao used to be his Thursday lunch at home in his school days.It is a very easy recipe and unique for a Sunday when your help is on leave and you want to have a less messy affair in the kitchen. So sharing with you all the recipe of prawn coconut pulao with you all. Happy eating!!! Kamalika Basu De -

I love paneer masala, and like to give it my own twist! Nothing too spicy and a nice creamy sauce with the half fat coconut milk. Friends and family alike always love this! I tend to make it as a side dish and serve with rice or roti. Shazia Awan-Scully
