Ingredients

  1. For PALAK Paneer -
  2. 1 bunchPalak,cleaned and destemed
  3. 1Onion sliced
  4. 2Tomatoes chopped
  5. 2 tbspOil
  6. 1 tspCumin seeds
  7. 1 tspRed chilli powder
  8. 1 tspCoriander pwder
  9. 1 tspZeera powder
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 2Green chillies
  12. 100 grmsPaneer
  13. For the tarts-
  14. 1 cupWhole wheat flour
  15. 1 tspSugar
  16. 1 pinchSalt
  17. 50 grmsCold butter
  18. 3-4 tbspIce cold water
  19. Other ingredients-
  20. 4 tbspMozerella Cheese grated

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil and add the cumin seeds.when the seeds crackle add the onions and fry till translucent

  2. 2

    Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies and all the dry spices mentioned

  3. 3

    Saute and add the tomatoes and let it cook till mushy

  4. 4

    Add the spinach leaves and cook till the leaves change their colour

  5. 5

    Let it cool and then grind the mixture into a smooth paste.Do not add water

  6. 6

    In the same pan add the puree and add cubed Paneer.Cook for 5 to 7 mins

    Take the flour add the sugar and the salt and add the cold butter

  8. 8

    Rub the butter into the flour and now add cold water and make a very stiff dough.

    Refrigerate the dough for atleast 30 mins

    Take the dough out and spread it.Make small roundels and place each of it in a mini tart pan.make a thin layer. Pierce holes in the tart and bake the tarts @ 200 The Celsius for 20 mins in a preheated oven

    Fill the tarts with our palak paneer gravy.Add some cheese on top and bake again for 5 mins

    Enjoy the mini tarts guilt free.
