Cabbage matar curry

Cooking Instructions

Clean and cut potatoes in small cube. Chopped cabbage nicely and keep ready.

In a pan heat oil, put cumin seeds and bay leaf and allow it to crackle, for few sec.

Add chopped onion into it and fry till onions change colour to light brown. It takes 3 to 4 minutes.

Now add ginger garlic paste and saute for more minutes. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, mix well and fry till masala done properly, it takes 4 to 5 minutes.

Then add chopped vegetables, green peas and tomato,salt to mix well, cover and cook for 10 minutes or till done. No need to add extra water into it as cabbage releases lots of water.

After 10 minutes stir the curry very well, mix garam masala, add 1 tsp ghee mix well, switch off the stove.

Curry is ready now, garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roti or poori.
