I just got my air fryer recent & I love it. I am unsure about the copper mat insert, should I just cut one of my grilling mats to the size of my air basket?

I use grilling mat in my air fryer as well. Like you said, just cut them to size and they are so easy to clean. One thing though, if you ever need to preheat your air fryer, make sure you don't leave the grilling mat inside the basket. The mat may be blown around by the fan and may get scorched by the heating unit.
