Ingredients

4 portions
  1. 4 CupsMacaroni Pasta
  2. 1 CupPlain Flour
  3. 500 mlsMilk
  4. 500 mlsWater
  5. 100 GramsButter
  6. 3 TeaspoonYellow(English) Mustard
  7. 300 GramsCheese, Grated
  8. 1 TeaspoonOil
  9. 1 TeaspoonSalt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put the Macaroni on to cook, with the Oil and Salt in the water.(Prevents sticking to the pan!) (10-15 Minutes)

  2. 2

Meanwhile grate the Cheese and set aside.

  3. 3

Put the Flour and Butter into a large saucepan, and start to heat gently, stirring to prevent burning. Add a small amount of milk to the mix, still stirring.

  4. 4

Keep adding the milk, stirring and heating to make a thick paste, then adding more milk then the water until it’s all mixed in and a creamy sauce is made. If you have any lumps, use a whisk!

  5. 5

Turn down the heat, spoon in the Mustard, then add the grated Cheese, stirring all the while. Turn down the heat on the sauce and check the Pasta.

  6. 6

If cooked, drain well, then pour over the sauce and mix well. Enough for 4 portions. Can be frozen or just re- heated!! Enjoy!!
