Wash and marinate the sausages. Mix flour, yeast, salt, butter and pour milk or water and knead to make a soft dough. Cover and allow to rise until double in size. Punc the air down and make balls.

On a floured surface roll each ball and place the sausage roll again very well, then use scissors and cut the rolled sausage, as you cut you use your hand and drag it to right side the following one take it to left until you reach end. Place in grease baking tray allow to rise again and wash with egg and bake in preheated oven.

As of late I haven't been able to get fish sausage bread, like I used to eat when I was a kid, so I made them myself.The came out even better then the ones I used to buy (maybe because they are fresh?)Keep the dough covered with plastic wrap or a dishcloth to prevent it from drying out.You only need about 4 cm of frying oil. If using that amount, just make sure to move them around a bit so they fry nice and evenly.I used Nissei brand fish sausages this time. Recipe by Homard Ebiko
