Ingredients

  1. 300 gramspaneer
  2. 1/4 cupoil
  3. For paneer marination:
  4. 2 tbspthick curd
  5. 1/2 tspeach of turmeric,red chilli and chaat masala powder
  6. 1 tspmustard oil
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. For gravy:
  9. 1 pinchheeng
  10. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  11. 1 tspkashmiri chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  13. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1 tspcoriander powder
  15. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  16. 3/4 cuptomato puree
  17. 1 tbspkasuri methi
  18. 2 tbspchopped coriander leaves
  19. as requiredFew ginger julians
  20. 2-3 cubespaneer for gravy
  21. as per tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Cut paneer into cubes,Marinate into the ingredients mentioned,leave for 30 minutes.

    Heat 2 tbso oil in a pan, fry marinated paneer to golden.Take out and keep aside.Add remaining oil in the same pan and add hing and cumin seeds,add kashmiri chilli powder and quickly add 2-3 tbsp water to avoid burning of spices.

    Lower the flame,add all powdered spices exept garam masala powder.

    Mix and saute for 1 minute.Add tomato puree,salt and 1/2cup water.Cover and cook for 4-5minutes on medium flame.

    After 3-4minutes,spices are cooked well,add fried paneer and grate 2-3cubes of paneer over gravy.

    Add kasuri methi,ginger julians and chopped coriander leaves.Adjust gravy.Cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.

    Serve.
