Ingredients

  1. 2cooking spoons vegetable oil
  2. 15peeled shrimps
  3. Seasoning
  4. Salt
  5. 5large tomato
  6. 5large scotch bonnet peppers
  7. 1medium tatashe
  8. 1medium onion
  9. 1 tablespoontomato paste
  10. Small sliced onion
  11. 1 teaspoonGarlic and ginger paste
  12. 1and half cups basmati rice
  13. 1 cupMeat stock

    Heat up the oil in a pot

  2. 2

    Season the shrimp with the garlic, ginger paste and seasoning

  3. 3

    Fry this lightly in the heated vegetable oil

  4. 4

    Remove after 3 minutes of frying and set aside

  5. 5

    Blend the tomato, pepper, tatashe and onions together and boil in another pot down until water is reduced

  6. 6

    Add the tomato paste

  7. 7

    Place the shrimp oil back on heat and Pour the boiled down tomato paste into it

  8. 8

    Fry the tomato mix very well

  9. 9

    Now pour in the meat stock and add the seasoning and salt and pour in the washed rice

  10. 10

    Stir and taste for seasoning

  11. 11

    Add another cup of hot water, now cover the pot with foil and then the lid

  12. 12

    Allow to cook and when the water is almost dried, pour in the sliced onions and fried shrimp and stir

  13. 13

    Cover again with the foil and lid on low heat and cook until the rice is completely dried
