Refreshing Chinese Cabbage Cole Slaw

I wanted to use up leftover Chinese cabbage.
The core of the Chinese cabbage is easy to slice with a slicer, but the leaves can be tricky, so I recommend using a knife.
Also try substituting tuna, crab sticks, or fish sausage for ham. For about 4 servings. Recipe by Emacchi mama

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Thinly slice the Chinese cabbage. You can also slice it with a knife; thinner slices would better absorb the seasoning. Slice the ham into thin strips.
- 2
Combine the ○ ingredients. Combine the Chinese cabbage, ham, and drained corn into a bowl, and toss with the mixture of the ○ ingredients.

That's it! It's ready to serve. This cole slaw tastes great served right away, but if you let it sit for about 30 minutes, the flavors nicely meld together.

Basic Cole Slaw Basic Cole Slaw
I had some vegetables given to me that I needed to use up before it all went bad. I LOVE Cole Slaw and I basically had the guts for it. I had mixed carrots (yellow, orange, purple) and a smaller head of cabbage and finally some onions. I chose to use white, regular ones. Finally I came up with the sauce for it by reviewing several recipes and creating a conglomerate. Hope you try it and like it. braddy -

This is inspired by a condiment/side that they serve at my favorite Mexican restaurant, El Molino Central, in Sonoma, CA.My version is super simple, fast, and great as an addition to tacos or as a base for a taco bowl type meal. I've made it with different kinds of cabbage, vinegar, and sometimes add special additions like slivered red onion or toasted pumpkin seeds. farmer_ariel -
