Ice Cubes

Nikki Zazz @HockeyChickNik1567
yes, I am finally revealing what my children and husband seem to think is a top secret recipe, in the hopes that they will pass it on to others... up next, "how to put on a roll of toilet paper"! lololol
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Open freezer, see (always) empty ice cube tray
- 2
STOP ...do NOT yell "mommmm!" You can do this.
- 3
Walk to sink, turn on faucet
- 4
Fill each well in the tray completely. Shut OFF the water
- 5
Put tray back in freezer. Do NOT jam it in so freezer door cannot close and everything melts. Make sure its actually in there.
- 6
Close freezer door, wait a few hours until frozen. And if you take the last ice cube, REPEAT!
- 7
Congratulations ...YOU made ice all by yourself! Now go clean your room.

California Farm Frozen Garlic Puree Paste Ice Cubes
Garlic puree is pure minced whole garlic bulbs and good for a few days after thawing. Garlic paste is puree with olive oil and flaked seasalt and is good for a week after thawing. A great way to save garlic bulbs when they get soft. An ice cube has the strength of half a bulb. The ice cube tray holds 14 ice cubes, that is seven whole bulbs of garlic. The trays have covers, they stack. Good for a year in the freezer. Best for pastas, olive oil dips, garlic butter, garlic aioli and mashed potatoes.

Oh no! Out of Ice (Improvised Refreshment)
We're out of ice at home and I'm dying from the heat. So I came up with this "refreshment" that not only tastes delicious but also has fruit as a bonus and is low in calories. I dedicate this drink to the heat of this afternoon and to creativity in the kitchen.

Honey Ice Cream
I made this with Pohutukawa honey from New Zealand and it was delicious. There's no need to stir the ice cream midway of chilling as it'll take on a smooth and soft texture. You can use any heavy cream you like, but the richness and smoothness will depend on what you use. Recipe by John Lee Cooker

Lime ice creams

Cranberry Ice Cream
The perfect ice cream for fall, especially for Thanksgiving. I have been making this for about 15 years, using a variety of cranberry "purees".I have used fresh cranberries, canned whole or jellied cranberry sauce, jellies, and jams for my puree. They are all very good in their own unique way. Use whichever one you are most comfortable using. Also, if possible, use heavy cream and regular milk. It makes a huge difference if you try to cut back on the fat. If you have to cut back on the fat, then that is cool but realize that it will not be as creamy and rich. I found out the hard way.Prepare yourself for a rich, creamy, tart, and sweet ice cream. In the past, I have added white chocolate chips, chocolate chips, etc which gave it something very special taste. I make this at least once every fall. It is so worth it.Enjoy!

Ice Cream Tempura
The chef at the restaurant where I used to work part time when I was a student used to work at a 5-star restaurant in Italy. This is a recipe that that chef created as part of a summertime course, and was handed down to me.Steps 1 through 9 are all prep work. If you make a lot of wrapped ice cream balls and freeze them, you can fry them any time you like. The main key is to wrap the ice cream completely in the castella cake in Step 7! It's also important to freeze the ice cream balls completely in Step 9! For about 7 servings. Recipe by chopper4

Rice Ice Cream
I had this at Rice Gallery (a special shop set up to promote domestic rice) and it was delicious. I wonder if they still have it.The consistency of the ice cream will vary depending on how much you mash the rice. If you mash it up a lot the ice cream will be very sticky and thick. I wrote down "milk," but I actually use low-fat milk. Recipe by Happa

Ice Cold & Smooth Tofu Shake
It was so hot today, so I wanted to drink and I added tofu and ice to thicken it.Be sure to blend the ingredients together first until smooth. If you try to purée all the ingredients together, it won't be smooth. It's pretty thick, so if you want it to be the consistency of a smoothie, add about 200 g of ice. In that case, add more matcha tea powder, sugar, etc. The quantity of ice depends on the size of the bananas, so add the ice indicated as a reference. In the heat of the summer, the ice melts pretty quickly, so keep that in mind and adjust the thickness of the mixture. Recipe by ne-ne

Melted Ice Cream Style Shake
Thanks to everyone's delicious smoothie recipes, I got to know how great frozen bananas are. I love ice cream and wanted to come up with a recipe to re-create a low calorie smoothie that tastes like melting ice cream! If you are using a hand mixer, mix the powder and condensed milk first then add milk to prevent the powder from flying all over the place. Finally, add the frozen bananas. The banana tends to blend in faster when you add it after powder is mixed with milk. A convenient way to use up leftover bananas that are ripening too quickly for you is to cut each one into rounds and freeze them. In the summer, we always have frozen bananas! This milk shake is also delicious with instant coffee, kinako powder and ground sesame. Recipe by Spain

Ice Cold! Easy Hiyajiru (Cold Miso Soup)
This is a regional speciality of Miyazaki prefecture. I made it so that we could have ice cold hiyajiru on a hot day quickly. When I'm short on time, I always use this method.Since this is a traditional regional dish, every family has their own recipe and flavor, so there really is no recipe or set amounts. You could add other ingredients like okra or daikon radish sprouts too. For 4 servings. Recipe by Kuiishinbo yoppy

Matcha Green Tea Shaved Ice with Cute Mochi Balls
It's boiling hot outside! So I created a chilled dessert that'll cool me from within. If you mix the dry ingredients all together, the mochi balls will become stiff, so add water to adjust the texture. If you plan to shape the mochi balls into characters, it's best if the dough is slightly on the softer side. Shape the dough on a sheet of parchment paper, then drop it into a pot of boiling water.
