preheat oven to 325. greace cookie sheets

sift together flour, baking soda and salt(if using salted butter don't add); set aside
- 3
cream together butter, brown sugar and sugar until well blended. beat in vanilla, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy. mix in dry ingredients until just blended. stir in chocolate chips by hand. drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at time.

bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the oven or until the edges are lightly
