Ingredients

  1. 1bag of raw peanuts
  2. 1 smallcrockpot
  3. 1water (as needed)
  4. 3 ozsea salt
  5. 14 oz. bottle of liquid crab boil
  6. 2handful Tony Chachares creole seasoning
  7. 2 tspground cayenne pepper
  8. 1handful crushed red pepper
  9. 3bay leaf
  10. 1 clovegarlic (chopped)
  11. onion powder

Cooking Instructions

    Pour bag of peanuts into the crock pot.

    Fill crock pot up with water, leaving about 2 inches to the top for stirring purposes.

    Set crock pot on high. Once water is boiling, add spices.

  4. 4

    Let peanuts cook in crockpot for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Once 24 hours is up, check doneness and spiciness of peanut. If not tender enough, cook an additional 3 hours at a time until done to your liking. If too spicy, dump half the liquid and refill with water. Stir and cook until boiling.
