Mung Dal Cheela with stuffed Paneer

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupSoaked yellow mug dal- (soaked for 5 hours)
  2. 1/2 cupSoak urad dal (soaked for 5 hours)
  3. 2 cupsGrated Paneer-
  4. 1 tspSome gingers
  5. 1green chillies
  6. 1Chopped onions
  7. 1/2 tspRoasted cumin seeds
  8. To tasteTurmeric powder
  9. to tasteChat masala
  10. To tasteSalt
  11. as neededCoriander leaves
  12. as neededOil

Cooking Instructions

    Grind the soaked yellow mung dal,urad dal, gingers, green chillies to make a soft batter.

    In the batter add finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, roasted cumin seeds, salt.The cheela batter is ready.

    In another bowl mix grated paneer with green chillies, chopped onions, chopped coriander, salt & chat masala.

    In a preheated pan spread the mug dal batter to a nice thin cheela & drizzle some oil, allow to cook in a medium heat & then flip it over & cook it on the other side until it lightly golden brown.

    Now take it & place it on a plate. Fill the paneer stupping on the centre & fold the cheela & cut it in an angle.

    Garnish with hungcurd.
