Hamburger buns Hamburger buns
Having been confined at home for several weeks, I'm craving for a good cheeseburger. Unfortunately, it is really hard to find ready-to-eat hamburger buns in supermarkets where I live, in Japan.Cooking time says 4 hours, but most of it is waiting! Just make sure you're getting started early enough to have your buns ready when it's time to assemble burgers.I found this recipe online and made a few adjustments before my first time baking:- converted all quantities to metric- adjusted for 4 buns- reduced sugarGiving credit where it's due, here's a link to the original: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/233652/homemade-hamburger-buns/ David -
Buns for Sliders Buns for Sliders
I made this using a bread maker, but you can knead it by hand. We love sliders but we can't find the perfect buns for them. You can glaze the top with yolk and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top for better finish. This recipe will yield about a dozen buns, more or less. If the buns are too thick, cut and remove the middle part. You can use this for sandwiches later! When you are making bread, sometimes you need to add more flour or fluid. Check the consistency of the dough and add flour or fluid accordingly. Angela Mertoyono -
Cinnamon buns Cinnamon buns
The best cinnamon buns you will ever eat.I made half of the dough and I got 8 buns out of it. If you want that too, just half all the ingredients. I used a teaspoon oil instead of the yolk and it worked perfectly fine. Miriam👩🍳 -

Fluffy Buns for Hot Dogs 🌭 / Sandwiches or Burgers 🍔 Fluffy Buns for Hot Dogs 🌭 / Sandwiches or Burgers 🍔
We wanted to make extra special hot dogs in a street food style, but living abroad, it's extremely difficult to find good buns for this purpose. So, I went into the kitchen and made my own buns!!They turned out more than fantastic, fluffy, and exactly how we wanted them, so I'm sharing the recipe with you 🤩I filled them with country sausage, crispy bacon, cheese, caramelized onion, ketchup, and mustard... homemade street food 😁🤪Let's make them!!!P.S.:They can be used however we want and filled with anything we can think of, from patties, sausages, ham and cheese, salads, etc., to hazelnut spread, jam, butter, and honey, etc.In the recipe, I used a combination of all-purpose flour and cake flour. Also, I didn't have fresh milk, so I used condensed milk, which I simply diluted 50-50 with warm water. Mariana Mykonos 💙🇬🇷🤍Translated from Cookpad Greece -
Challah Challah
I adapted this recipe from a popular recipe I found online, but that one used shortening and had too much salt.I sorta lazily skipped most of the kneading. And I think that's why the loaves didn't really have a true braided definition like you would expect from a challah. Probably should have used a bit more flour as well. But, it turned out so good that I'm not sure I want to do it the right way. Ryan Goodwin -
Hamburger Buns (Very Soft) Hamburger Buns (Very Soft)
These buns are very soft and delicious, yet they have enough consistency to hold all the ingredients of a fully loaded hamburger. They're nothing like what you find at the supermarket. I invite you to try this recipe and fill these buns with whatever you like. Encarna Pérez (La Cocina De Encarni)Translated from Cookpad Spain -

Tibetan Steamed Buns (Tingmos) Tibetan Steamed Buns (Tingmos)
Or of the "norm" and good.I was looking for something to do a "dunk" in some chicken tika masala I was going to make. Something to replace naan, just different. I ran across this recipe. But I needed to make it simpler. So I did. Both my wife and I were surprised at how well these turned out, and they taste great. Will be making these again. They had a slight crust on them, nothing like baked mind you, and are so soft, nice flavor, a real treat. Give these a try, you won't regret it, other than cleaning up the flour mess, but that might just be me. I seem to get it everywhere! Fo Fa -

Hong-Kong Style Pineapple Buns (菠蘿包) Hong-Kong Style Pineapple Buns (菠蘿包)
HK-style pineapple buns, aka bolo bao, do not actually have pineapple as an ingredient. The name comes from the crunchy topping that loosely resembles a pineapple. They are a staple of Chinese bakeries in Hong Kong, and are good for breakfast (plain), lunch (as sandwich), tea time (with a slab of butter inside), or dessert (with ice cream)! Sesame Seed Hamburger Buns Sesame Seed Hamburger Buns
I wanted to try making hamburger buns out of ordinary bread dough. The pictures I used feature dough balls that are 70~75 g -- a little on the light side. The main profile picture (showing the hamburger patties) have buns made from 80 g balls of dough. They can become a little tall, so if you want to cut them into 3 slices, so weigh the dough to 80-85 g. Recipe by Narimofugi cookpad.japan
