Pinguy's Fried Chicken - KFC Style Chicken Recipe Pinguy's Fried Chicken - KFC Style Chicken Recipe
Been messing around with this recipe for a good while now. It started out as a KFC clone but has evolved into it's own thing. This is a family favourite that we have once a fortnight. You don't have to poach the chicken before frying but it does improve the texture and taste. Plus it also gives you a chicken stock that you can use to make a gravy. See my recipes on how to make KFC style gravy with the left over seasoned breading flour and the poached chicken water/stock. Pinguy -

Jang Style Chicken - Recreating KFC Chicken Jang Style Chicken - Recreating KFC Chicken
I was so amazed at how delicious the Jang Sauce Chicken at KFC was, and I immediately got to recreating the dish. Actually, I was successful with my first try (lol). The key is to add curry powder into the crust ♪You should definitely taste the real thing at KFC!★ I used granulated sugar.★ My gochujang is fairly spicy, but the result won't be too hot since the sugar gives it a sweet flavor. If you're into spicy food, you can add more gochujang if you'd like. Recipe by Homard Ebiko cookpad.japan -

Better than KFC!? Spicy Chicken Better than KFC!? Spicy Chicken
These are spicy karaage with homemade karaage powder. They're similar to Kentucky Fried Chicken.Since deep-frying the chicken for a long time will make them tough, it's best to fry them at a high heat for a short time.If you plan to have them with some beer, I think they'll taste better with 2 teaspoons of pepper. If you decide to skip the steaming part, patiently deep-fry them in oil at 160°C, and then raise the temperature and fry quickly at the end.
