- SUPER yummy and dangerously delicious! I used some gummies a friend brought back from Germany..they were quite sturdy so took a good while to fully absorb..but were super good! I didn't add juice...I instead added other flavored liquors..a lemon vodka, some triple sec, some of my sour apple jolly rancher vodka...they were very strong but didn't taste like it.. hence the danger! ;) will definitely do again! - soooo yummy and creamy and filling! this is my first try at using leeks and I'm super excited about trying more now!! I did use chicken stock as it's all I had...I also only made half the recipe for my first time, but I'll absolutely be making this again..a full batch so I can freeze portions to have whenever. it's a very fast and very easy soup too! I added a splash of cream for an extra bit of creamy mouth feel. delicious! I just blended it in the soup pot with an immersion blender...worked great!! thanks as always Vicky for the help and advice!! (L) Add comment
- yum! I was so excited when I finally got my pasta roller set that I could try this! I added a bit of salt and some basil to my dough! came out great and only my very first try at homemade pasta! Hubby and son were impressed and couldn't believe it had just been eggs and flour a few minutes before! thanks for all the pics and the youtube video ... helped a bunch!! :) Add comment
- saw this on Pinterest but was happy to see it up here..much easier to get to! was delicious! I added some chunks of pineapple and also added a bit of cornstarch to thicken it a bit more...i also added some red pepper flakes to get a tiny bit of heat...was amazing! thanks for sharing here. :) Add comment
- this is a great biscuit recipe! I didn't use all the sugar...I just did barely a sprinkle. I did 6tbls of cold butter. I mixed it in my food processor and I brushed it with buttermilk before baking...and I also formed the dough into a square or rectangle and cut it into 9 biscuits and placed them close together to keep the edges nice and soft. :) Add comment
- I cooked it on low for approx 9 hours…it comes out pretty solid...although if you stir it up well it gets back to creamy, although quite thick. This time I used it for a Dulce de Leche cheesecake (some in the cheesecake and the rest on top)…next time I’ll cook it for a bit less time for a lighter, creamier consistency. Waaaaaaay easier to me even then doing it on the stove top or in the oven…I started it before bed and it was all done with no hassle when I got up!! Great for all kinds of things!!
