Couldn't find any shell thick enough for my liking so made my own.

Ingredients

  1. 4 cupflour
  2. 2 tspbaking powder
  3. 1 tspsalt
  4. 1 1/4 cupwater
  5. 1/4 cupoil
  6. 1shortening for cooking

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix dry ingredients together then add water and oil. make a soft dough

  2. 2

    Divide into 6 balls roll flat on floured surface

  3. 3

    Base a flat iron platter or big skillet with some shortening, place one flat roti on it cook on low heat till bubbles appear , turn and cook other side

  4. 4

    Wrap in a wet towel to keep moist. cook the rest and keep adding to the towel

  5. 5

    Fill with curried chicken and potatoes yumm
