Thank you for your recipe! It was delicious. One question, i think the orange peel did not caramelize properly... Any idea of what I might have done wrong? I used coconut oil and coconut sugar for the cake and I would recommend it as a substitution, it was delicious! Thank you again!!!

Hi Elena. So pleased you liked it and I’ve made a note regarding coconut oil. The peel needs to be very fine. Also maybe let the syrup boil a little longer before adding the orange peel so the syrup is thicker.

Looking at your peel it does look quite thick. I used a zester to get it as fine as possible. If you don’t have a zester you can fry a coarse grater.
