Cooking Instructions
- 1
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan
- 2
When the oil is hot, add in a teaspoon of mustard seeds and a teaspoon of cumin seeds carefully. Wait till they crackle.
- 3
Add in a sprig of curry leaves
- 4
Add in a cup of finely chopped onions and sauté till they get translucent
- 5
Now add in the minced ginger and garlic or the ginger-garlic paste and cook till the raw smell fades away
- 6
Add in 1/4 teaspoon of asafoetida powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder,1 teaspoon of coriander powder and salt as per your taste
- 7
Add in 1 tablespoon of finely chopped cilantro leaves. (Leave aside 1 tablespoon of cilantro leaves for garnishing)
- 8
Mix well and add in 3 cups of peeled and diced potatoes
- 9
Cover and cook till the potatoes are cooked well. Keep checking, as the potatoes may stick to the bottom.
- 10
There’s no need to add water, the potatoes will cook with the own steam they release. Water will make the dish mushy.
- 11
When the potatoes are cooked, garnish with cilantro leaves and serve hot.
- 12

Mixed Veggie Sabji (Stir Fried Veggies) Mixed Veggie Sabji (Stir Fried Veggies)
-I was able to make a delicious Sabji that goes with curry using the vegetables that I had in my fridge.-I thought I could use a moderate amount of everyday oil and spices that are used in Indian cooking and easy on the stomach and large intestines. However, the more popular version is to use a smaller amount of spices since it's better for your health.-It's good even without Paneer-If you want to shorten the cooking time, then I recommend when cooking the carrot portion of the recipe, you can prep it by boiling it in a separate pot.-Rather than relying on the same vegetables, try making it with different ones. That is the purpose of this versatile recipe! Recipe by Plabar cookpad.japan -

Tomato and Paneer Sabji (Indian Stir Fried Vegetables and Cheese) Tomato and Paneer Sabji (Indian Stir Fried Vegetables and Cheese)
When I used to live in my homeland India, a lady in our neighborhood used to make this a lot for us. Adding tomato ketchup is my mother's secret touch. I love ketchup, so I love this dish too. It reminds me of home.I don't really have any hints. It goes well with rice or pasta, and it has lots of vegetables so it's healthy too. When people think of Indian cooking they only tend to think of curries, but this is the kind of dish that is eaten in Indian homes. It's not something you get in a restaurant. For 2 servings. Recipe by Plabar cookpad.japan -
