This is a recipe for fried bread that is used to make Indian Tacos. This is a yeast version. I revised a recipe that my mother-in-law gave me into easy to make measurements.-The moisture of the dough may vary depending on the type of flour used and the humidity, so adjust accordingly.-The dough should be just a little bit softer than your earlobe.-I used the rapid rise type of yeast that can be used instantly after mixed with the flour. Full of Nostalgia: Fried Bread Full of Nostalgia: Fried Bread
This is a kinako covered bread that I loved for school lunch a long time ago. The first time I thought about making this was when I was talking about school lunch and I realized that it had been awhile and I wanted to eat it. The school lunch version had an oval shape, but I wanted to use a lot of soy powder, so I made it into a longer shape and it became this shape. This is one thing my child and I love.In Step 5, when twisting the dough, be sure to twist it properly to they roll up well in Step 7. Sometimes I add ground sesame for more flavor. For 16 rolls. Old-Fashioned Fish Sausage Fried Bread Old-Fashioned Fish Sausage Fried Bread
As of late I haven't been able to get fish sausage bread, like I used to eat when I was a kid, so I made them myself. The came out even better then the ones I used to buy (maybe because they are fresh?)Keep the dough covered with plastic wrap or a dishcloth to prevent it from drying out.You only need about 4 cm of frying oil. If using that amount, just make sure to move them around a bit so they fry nice and evenly.I used Nissei brand fish sausages this time. Recipe by Homard Ebiko cookpad.japan
