Thanks, J. Boo! I’ve made tuna steak before, but your sauce and seed idea was a nice change for us. And you taught me to bring the fish to almost room temp first and pat it dry, which was news to me and it worked phenomenally.
I sautéed the veggies before cooking the fish, and put it into a small dish to stay warm while I quickly seared the tuna.

This recipe was fabulous! We loved the sauce and chia crust! I added a little white sesame seed for contrast.
