This is the dish that i prepared instead of the traditional sheer khurma on my last eid-ul-fitr. Ill surely be making this tasty treat for this eid too inshaAllah ❤😍

Heat milk in a pot and bring to boil. Add sugar and cardamom powder and let it cook until sugar dissolves.

Now add pasta vermicelli and cook for another 10 minutes or until vermicelli is done.

Dissolve custard powder in little amount of milk. Add this the milk in pot and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Once the custard is thickened, switch off flame.

Bring custard mixture to room temperature. Then add cream, almonds, pistachios, fruit cocktail and give it a good mix until everything is well incorporated.

Chill it in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. Garnish with more chopped nuts and gulab jamun and serve chilled❤
