Just a comment on the dough. This is the first recipe I've ever seen that uses sour cream instead of water. Exactly as my immigrant Polish Grandma used to make and my kids make it for family Christmas to this day! It makes the Pierogi almost velvet-like!

My dad was in heaven with the last batch my sister and i made. He said they tasted just like his moms which is a huge compliment. She was one hell of a cook. Next on the polish list is kruschiki. My family found my great grandmothers recipe for it. I just have to wait for Texas to cool off a bit lol.
