I would like to try this recipe and would appreciate a few tips. What should be proportion of water/rice? 4/1? Also, I'm afraid that if I leave the rice and everything onto full heat to boil without mixing it will burn.

The water should always about double the rice, but if you're ensuring it stays at a constant 2/3 of the pan it should be alright (if the rice is cooked and there's a lot of liquid left, feel free to remove a little and let it simmer until the water is mostly gone - it shouldn't make too much of a difference). If you have a pan that will burn and stick feel free to mix and agitate it every now and again until it's almost done (apparently a bit of burn on the bottom can be to add flavour, but I'm not the biggest fan on of that). I find that putting cabbage on the bottom of the pan also helps stop the actual meal from burning. Even though that isn't ideal
