I made an account specifically to ask why ANYONE would list as "mix with a whisk" as a good idea for the final step before baking. Doing do only thickens the batter to the point of becoming brownie batter/muffin batter in density and destroys the bubbles. Knowing this I followed the instructions EXACTLY as listed and resulted in a chewy, definitely not chiffon-like texture. The flour & sugar-egg mixture must be folded in gently with a spatula, until mixed just so.

This is the worst recipe have ever tried... Don't waste your ingredients. Deleting this from my saved recipies.
