Sindhi chicken curry is favourite dish in my home. Most try this chicken curry recipe is extremely delicious and you can add the spice level to your preference.

Wash and clean the chicken well and marinate with the masalas add haldi powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Keep aside for 30 minutes.

In a pressure cooker, heat mustard oil. Once the oil heats up, add the cinnamon stick, bay leaf, ginger and garlic. After a minute add onion and cook until it turns pink. Add Kashmiri red chilli powder and coriander powder. Mix well.

Add chopped tomatoes, salt and saute for few minutes add water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Mash the puree with the masher or a grinder and combine well.

Add the chicken and mix well and let it cook for 20 minutes. Keep mixing the chicken in between and add water a little when required and cook on medium flame. Once the chicken is cooked well it will leave oil. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.

Open the cooker after the pressure releases and give a little boil until the gravy reaches the consistency you prefer.

Serve hot with roti or rice.
