I fell in love with a certain brand's steam buns and wanted to eat lots.
Since they are meant for children, the flavor is rather weak. If you prefer a stronger taste, add more matcha. Recipe by Yasucchi

I made this because my daughter is allergic to wheat flour. There is no way to fail at making these simple fluffy buns.Depending on the fineness of the flour, the amount of water needed will be necessary too. So use a smaller amount at first and then add more if necessary. You can also use rice flour powder mix and it will turn out great. The other day I just happened to have rice flour designed for baking and it turned out fantastic. Recipe by Areko haha yuukorin cookpad.japan -
Steamed Pork Buns with Rice Flour for Wheat Allergies Steamed Pork Buns with Rice Flour for Wheat Allergies
Today's school lunch was steamed pork buns!Since my child has food allergies, I try to recreate the same lunch meal prepared at school, so that he eats the same food as his classmates.Dust your hands with rice flour (not listed) to form the buns. Since the dough isn't as elastic as wheat flour dough, you won't be able to make a fancy seam, but be sure to tightly secure the edges. It's easy if you use a spoon to place the filling on the dough. The rising time depends on the season, so be sure to keep your eye on them. This recipe is a variation of "Easy, Springy Non-Oil Steamed Bread".I had a craving for macrobiotic oatmeal steamed buns. You can use the oatmeal as is, but the texture will become moist and chewy if you take the trouble to pulverize it into a powder. You can prevent condensation from dripping onto the buns by wrapping the steamer lid in cloth, and fixing it with a rubber band. (Don't let the cloth catch on fire!) Recipe by Miyakojika cookpad.japan -
Rice Flour White Bread Rolls (with Condensed Milk) Rice Flour White Bread Rolls (with Condensed Milk)
I was going to make white bread rolls using rice flour, and when I rounded off the dough I wanted to make a pull-apart bread instead so I made a white pull-apart bread.I used a pan with a non-stick coating, but I lined the bottom with kitchen parchment paper anyway so that the bread would be easy to take out.If the top is getting browned during baking, cover with aluminum foil. Fluffy Steamed Meat Buns, Handmade Dough Just use Cake Flour Fluffy Steamed Meat Buns, Handmade Dough Just use Cake Flour
I love fluffy steamed buns. After a lot of research , and finally completing this recipe, I decided to post it here. Now it has been over 10 years since I first introduced this recipe. It is scary how fast time flies .Be very careful not to let the surface of the dough dry out while it rises. Use a spray bottle to mist the dough, or a damp tea towel to keep the surface moist.Since the dough is slightly sweet, you can fill the buns with anko or another sweet filling. Try many different combinations. Recipe by Shunashuna cookpad.japan -
