Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 200 mlCouscous
  2. 400 mlHot water
  3. 2 tbspOlive oil
  4. 1/2 tspSalt
  5. 1pat Butter (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the couscous for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt.

    Add all of the hot water in one go. When you add it in the mixture should bubble a bit.

  3. 3

    Mix the couscous with a wooden spatula until it has absorbed all of the hot water.

  4. 4

    When it looks like it does in this photo, stop the heat, cover the pan with a lid and steam for 10 minutes. If you like, try melting in some butter.
