My mum used to make something VERY similar to this when I was a kid. Only difference I can think of is she would add pine nuts. I've asked her for the recipe recently and she doesn't even remember making it 😂. So happy I've found this as I was about to try and make it up! I wonder if our mums got the original recipe from the same place...
