Cooking Instructions

In a pot, place a layer of sweet potatoes after washing them thoroughly. Sprinkle some sugar over them, then add another layer of sweet potatoes and sprinkle more sugar. Repeat until all the sweet potatoes and sugar are used.

Take a cup of water and gently pour it from the side of the pot. Use a storage bag, open it, and cover the sweet potatoes, tucking the edges well, then cover the pot.

Once the sweet potatoes are cooked, transfer them to a baking sheet and place them under the broiler, stirring continuously.

Turn on the heat and let it come to a boil, then reduce the heat until the sweet potatoes are cooked through.

After that, take the sweet potatoes out, arrange them on a baking sheet, and put them in the oven to brown under the broiler, turning them until they reach the right color.

Of course, the sugar remains at the bottom of the pot where the sweet potatoes were. Increase the heat until it thickens a bit, then add the cinnamon and stir. Turn off the heat and set it aside. Once the sweet potatoes are out of the oven, cut them open with a knife and start adding the caramel mixture inside. Enjoy your meal!
