I'm glad you posted this. Me and the hubs were just talking about freeze drying the other day. Now I found a recipe to make pemmican. They say it lasts for several years and is an excellent source of protein

Thank you! My neighbors are Wintu Tribe, they hunt and make pemmican from deer meat, also from beef. I asked their recipe and will make some from my own steer in my air fryer and post my pemmican recipe if I like it. Will let you know.
