Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  • 2servings Chinese-style noodles
  • 3 cupswater (710 ml)
  • 1 tablespoonChinese soup base (such as chicken bouillon or Chinese soup stock paste) (15 ml)
  • 3 tablespoonssoy sauce (45 ml)
  • 1 teaspoonvinegar (5 ml)
  • 1 tablespoontoasted sesame oil (15 ml)
  • 1 dashchili oil
  • 1 pinchsalt and pepper
  • Toppings of your choice (such as green onions), as desired

Steps

    Add all ingredients marked with ● to a pot and bring to a boil.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chinese-style noodles in plenty of boiling water. When they reach your preferred firmness, drain them, place in bowls, and pour the soup from step 1 over the noodles.

    Add your favorite toppings and serve.
