Ingredients

  1. 200 gthin-cut pork loin chops (preferably from the shoulder end, or belly or ham)
  2. 3~4 leavescabbage (washed, thinly shredded and soak in cold water) or lettuce (washed and torn into pieces)
  3. 1/2 to 1 onions (chopped)
  4. 1 Tbspvegetable oil
  5. Sauce (mix in advance):
  6. * 2 Tbsp sugar
  7. * 3 Tbsp sake
  8. * 3 Tbsp soy sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sear the pork on both sides. Take them out from the pan.

    Cook the onion in the same frying pan until lightly browned. Add the sauce, pork and simmer thoroughly.

  3. 3

    Arrange the rice in a bowl and place the cabbage or lettuce over the rice, then add the pork and sauce.
