Butter chicken

4dianna20 @cook_2702839
It was a great meal! But the leftovers were rwally soggy because of the crackers.....and I live on leftovers.

Annabell0704 @cook_2720743
made tonight and everyone loved it. I used chicken beast and vegetable roasted Ritz crackers which gave it a little more flavor.. will definitely make again :-)

Angela Degase @cook_2719053
my kids and husband loved .......so yummy will definitely will make again :ohyeaah

Lynne Frasche @cook_2730419
this is really tasty. I use regular cutlets cut thin and added some parmesan cheese to crackers. our new favorite!

BigRed8726 @cook_2736367
This was very delicious. The whole family loved it and has asked me to make it again. I added some garlic salt and black pepper to the crumbs for some extra flavor. Yummy! ~(o.o)~ :ohyeaah

Dnlv @cook_2797157
Great dish! Daughter who does not like many chicken recipes really loved this one. I did use flour before dipping into the egg like others have suggested. Will make again!

GaryCSJr @cook_2817144
As is it wasn't very good. I had to modify it quite a bit. Using this as a foundation helped me turn it into something pretty good though.

Hart253 @cook_2826189
This
was so easy and good! My daughter's friends said it was "da bomb". Lol!! I did add sour cream to eggs and parmesan cheese to crackers. Will now be a regular feature at dinner at our house.

I was looking forward to making this as there seemed to be great reviews. However, we found this very plain. The Ritz crackers didn't do anything good for it at all, even with our usual spices, etc. Ritz ruined it. Very plain. Ah well, it was worth trying but thumbs down from us! The chicken was moist though. Perhaps a different cracker would make it better. Bread crumbs or croutons seem to never fail us. Guess one shouldn't try to change a good thing. :)

Kilik_duncan @cook_2867579
Well I think it's nice as long as you use it as a guide and don't strictly adhere to it. If you want a nice piece of just plan breaded chicken it's okay but if you want the taste and flavor, for instance I made a homemade italian pasta with my families special alfredo. So I used some basil oregano and a couple other fresh seasonings just lovely.

LeahWeeks @cook_2878923
It tasted good but the butter made the crackers a little soggy. Would make again without the extra butter.

Millissa @cook_2908086
didn't care for this.. i only put a little butter and still made the bottom super soggy!

Mrs.Lafaele @cook_2917202
Absolutely perfect..everyone loved it..soo hot butttery&crispy yet sweet.. O:-)

Mr.Dr.ProfessorLloyd @cook_2915491
If you have not, you should definitely consider adding some parmesan cheese to the Ritz coating. I follow an almost identical recipe and it provides an excellent additional zest.

Nenebean @cook_2927299
This was a truely awesome dish.my kids are so picky its hard to find things they like. My kids were coming back for more & more! I did follow hint to use flour before egg. My only problem I didnt make more! :positive

QSique @cook_2945825
Simple and tasty. I seasoned with Saxon Complete and garlic powder. I also used chicken tenderloins (chicken strips), Parmesan bread crumbs and unsalted butter.

Raeyvannah Alexis @cook_2948943
Yummmm...did this tonight...we were too anxious to try it to get a photo lol. However I did a variation. I left out the eggs and rolled the chicken in slightly melted butter, and seasoned my cracker crumbs with black pepper, parsley flakes, basil, oregano, a touch of onion and garlic powder. Wish I had added a little salt, but it was still yummy. May add a little grated parmesan to the crumbs in addition to the other stuff as well as a pinch of salt next time. As a side dish I did my signature hashbrown casserole with added halves of cherry tomatoes. :flower :flower :flower :flower :flower

My boyfriend just told me this morning about his mom making a chicken dish with ritz crackers and here it is! She added a pkg of dry ranch dip to the cracker crumbs.

Rhamjie16 @cook_2954222
question if im going to put in oven the the crumbs and the coating of buttered chicken become crispy or need to fry it in oil after oven

Tony4444 @cook_3002161
:-) a great taste to chicken... Add a little bit of melted butter on top right before placing in oven for an even better taste. Thanks

Winwin @cook_3014705
Made this the other night, it was very tasty and great. I double batterd mine with the egg and crackers, will make again

ashley.keith.946 @cook_3088892
Absolutely loved this idea!!! My kids are picky eaters, which I hate, and they each ate all their chicken!!! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe :)

aswelch @cook_3092825
AWESOME! I added sour cream and hot sauce to egg, add seasonings to the cracker crumbs. (any seasonings you like) Will make again! :hungry

bugger @cook_3151316
This was so good but I did change it up a bit. I use flour and a milk and egg to dip also used panko bread crumbs with season salt and some pepper. I use more butter about half a cup worth.

chefterith @cook_3184299
Butter chicken where? This one of those American call it something it isn't recipes

cheyobear @cook_3188103
Great taste! Add some all spice, or ur fav. seasoning. put some cheese over it. (side of stir fry / butter.) I like that the butter was not taking away from my crispy cracker bits. The texture of the brief cracker gave it a nice feel to the chicken. the butter kept the chicken moist. it drank it as it baked. giving it a slight buttery taste. Very nice.

christinaxrn @cook_3195354
these were tasty...added some garlic and onion powder and kosher salt to Ritz crumbs :hungry

christinacollins @cook_3195167
being a single mom of three and working late this is a great quick dinner for my picky eaters. love it :-)

fallenangell @cook_3308301
Great recipe!!i made this with the flour and seasoned it and it was great!! My kids who are picky eaters came back for more!

fingerlickinggood @cook_3314771
I made it tonight for dinner! it was a "winner winner chicken dinner" :-D I will make it again.

freche @cook_3322342
I'm sure this is lovely, but calling it "Butter Chicken" is very misleading as this is the name for a well known Indian dish.

florargentina @cook_3317367
B-) awesome recipe! I coated the chicken in flour and double battered it though

gdkasper @cook_3331217
The flavor was good and different. I would like to double dip it in batter next time.

isjld4u @cook_3388886
Very good I was very pleased and do was the boyfriend I loved the flavor :-)

jamieandbrianmartin @cook_3400644

jenni.bennett.52 @cook_3419707

jonathanthechef @cook_3449249
Made for dinner last night. The family loved it, and I have some picky eaters at my house. Thanks for recipe. B-)

jternes @cook_3459260
great and easy to make. could use some seasoning and leftovers weren't the best due to soggy crackers

junell @cook_3464298
It was very easy and moist. I did add some Italian seasoning, garlic powder and parmesan cheese to the cracker mix. Tasty! I will be making this again :)

klwerger2012 @cook_3509564
made this last night and forgot to add a picture :( it was darn good though!! ~(o.o)~

knaknight @cook_3510843
I didn't have much in my cabinets and decided to try this recipe. It was quick, easy, inexpensive and best of all, my picky eaters loved it! I will be making this again. Also, I didn't have tenderloins so I just used boneless breasts, trimmed them and cooked. :hungry P.S. I like the named Butter Love Chicken

Kristie Strevell Sarnecky @cook_3516653
Made it last night, added some garlic salt and parm cheese to the crackers, it was great!

kyjaxmom @cook_3522955
This was so delicious! I dredged the chicken in seasoned flour, egg, then cracker crumbs. I had to fight off my fourteen year old so my husband would have dinner. This was the best baked chicken I've ever made. Kudos! ~(o.o)~

Lauren Pellien @cook_3534488
Really good recipe. I cut up chicken breast and make nuggets. I cooked for thirty minutes and then broiled for a few minutes on the top rack to make the crackers crisp up. Delicious

matthewyeck @cook_3605278
Awesome.. Cheap easy quick good... Salt and pepper to taste. They have that everywhere.

labz @cook_3524973
easy to make and lovely Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

meredith04 @cook_3621131
so so so so easy and delish! like many of the other reviews i seasoned the chicken first then added seasonings to the cracker crumbs. The hubby couldnt even wait until it cooled off to eat! will make again!

mirandaaaharris @cook_3635768
Very plain, not as good as I thought it was going to be. I suggest using crackers with flavor or seasoning. Regular ritz was alright.

mimiheath @cook_3633918
GREAT CHICKEN!!! My family loved it. I added french's fried onions to the ritz crackers awesome
~(o.o)~

mrs.black31 @cook_3658258
Pretty tasty. Did add seasoning salt, pepper and garlic powder to crackers.

mssyed @cook_3663836
I used Italian marinate and then the rest of the crumbs part. Loved it!!! :hungry

Shannon Avery @cook_3826253
Chicken was very moist, but needed seasoning. I will make it again, but this time with some garlic.

Heather @cook_3860834
Turned out good, but a little soggy. I used garlic butter Ritz crackers with some dry ranch mix, and the taste was amazing! Next time, I'm gonna drizzle a little melted butter over the top versus putting it in the bottom of the pan, it always comes out nice and crispy that way. Thanks for the easy meal!

superdupershock @cook_3878385
made this using regular chicken with the bone still came out great :-)

sweatheart @cook_3882435
I have made this many time, try it with the garlic flavored ritz, you won't be sorry.

sueshu @cook_3875106
Did it plain for the kids but spiced it up for us adults, added garlic powder, paprika and parsley to the crumb mix.
Everyone ate it all.
:-)
Everyone ate it all.
:-)

sweettoothsain @cook_3884034
the chicken tasted very plane. if I make again, I will season the chicken and probably use chicken in a biscuit crackers. other then that it was overall good.

tamarawilliams1983 @cook_3889243
quick and easy😊... I season my chicken tenders with Cajun and garlic powder to give it a little taste... I also used a tad bit of butter with bread crumbs and it came out perfect... Rice, broccoli, and cheese casserole for the sides!

tammy.holmes.3762 @cook_3890029
My mother absolutely Love's this recipe! We r cookin out for Father's Day today but I have to fire up the oven just to make this for my mama! Lol

tapp1984 @cook_3892332
great and easy it was a hit in my house I only crushed the crackers and added parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning to cracker mixture before breading then sprinkled the seasoning mixture over it again before baking

Victoria Slawski-Dabrowski @cook_3948715
Loved this but changed a couple things. I seasoned the cracker mix. Onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt , pepper, paprika, adobo. Also I didn't use eggs, I used water and sour cream. Tasted great. Cook time was more like 45 mins.

vick1976 @cook_3947425
Pretty good. Better to dredge in flour before egg, makes coating stick better. I seasoned the flour with salt, pepper and some other stuff. Family was happy with it. Will make it again. :positive
