I cut the chicken into bite size pieces before boiling and add chicken flavor to water to flavor the chicken a bit more. Whole family loves it!

It was awesome! I made the crust from scratch. I steamed the chicken instead of boiling it and used just a little of the broth the chicken made. steamed the veggies on top of the chicken a bit and wa-bam! (L)

Yummy! Brushed the pie crust with butter for a bit of crunch....

This is great! The whole family loved it and it's a great way to use left over baked chicken. I will never buy pot pies again! I made homemade crust and it was a huge success! Use your imagination, it'll be great!

this sounds very tasteless and unseasoned. I do not care for boiled chicken, I think boneless skinless thighs are best for pot pie.

Made it with fresh potatoes, carrots, and broccoli. super easy. took a little longer to cook than expect almost an hour at 350. used shop rite cream of chicken, will definitly season it next time. We have a winner though the wife liked it!

add sour cream and dice the chicken first...pan cook chicken pieces with seasonings...ex garlic, onion etc. this recipe sounds a little bland...but if u do things a bit different it won't be. ;) been making this for years. :chef

Made this for dinner tonight. I boiled the chicken in chicken broth and cut it up into bite-sized pieces. Then mixed the cream of chicken soup, thawed mixed vegetables (carrots, peas and green beans I only used carrots and peas) and added a few chopped canned potatoes and the cooked chicken. Instead of making one big pot pie I did bottom crust in a little dish. (like a ramekin) Filled it with the filling then put crust on top. I baked it with slits at 350 until golden brown and bubbly. It made 6 individual pot pies. Next time I may reduce veggies a little so its not so thick. I used a 15 oz. bag of frozen veggies. :flower

Very simple to make, good recipe to teach teenagers how to cook, my 15 year old son made this one and it turned out very good. :-)

I added extra seasoning and leftover turkey instead! It was good, but not quite as good as made from scratchwith garden picked veggies, homemade gravy and pie crust. Ideal and acceptable if you're short on time!

Will this work with the store bought frozen pie crusts?
