I added the juice of 1 lemon and 1tsp of Almond extract and all my husbands battle buddies loved them. Great recipe.

This is a great sugar cookie to be frosted. The cookies themself aren't too sweet so when you add a sweet frosting, its not over powering!

the taste is pretty good but they were very hard to pick up without them crumbling up before placing them on the cookie sheet

if you add just a little bit of water before you chill it and after every time you roll it out it's not so dry, I also add some lemon Peel, pretty good

This is a very good recipe for parents. You can prepare the cookies during nap time. When the children wake up grab the rolling pen and some cookie cutters and watch as the kids have a blast. Extra points for coming out of clothes and carpets with ease.

The cookies ended up just a little dry if you to eat them plain. Great for frosting. The kids loved it. :chef
