I left the celery out and used both chicken broth and the white wine. I used smoked kilbasa sausage and i also added shrimp and used jasmine rice instead. it turned out OH SO GOOD!!! I will definitely make this again!!

This is lovely, I made a fishy version, added mackerel, anchovies, tuna and crab sticks, a little chorizo added a nice kick. Great eaten cold the next day, if anys left! Thanks for the recipe!

Shieldfire @cook_2974724
Very nice, but for all that's holy, use the right peppers as in recipe. :-)

a10ecbell @cook_3021665
Cooked this tonite for dinner with some cheddar bay biscuits...was DELICIOUS!!!!! Added this recipe to our favorite dinner options! Thanks!!!!

chefandrea @cook_3182293

Robyn @cook_3236698
very easy to make and tastes great can't wait to make it again and from now on its homemade.. more work but so worth it and makes great leftovers

david.brimelow @cook_3239869
Made this last night and live it. Has it cold for lunch today and just as tasty. Will definitely try this again =)

David Jensen Rosario @cook_3273665
I love the basic recipe. I agree that it needs a little bit more spice for those who like it hot. :) Deeeeelish!

fbodyhotty1 @cook_3311158
delicious!!! I added a few things like Cajun seasoning to get a little more spice. I don't usually review recipes but this one was top shelf :)

funkychair @cook_3324939
This is wonderful! Had my doubts, it seemed overly simple, but big hit with the whole family, I don't change a thing.

jankat @cook01569
Just made this dish my husband loved it as did I the only thing I did different was I took out one of the bell peppers and added one hot pepper and a little more rice yummy :)

jenandczr @cook_3417762
I used frozen bell pepper strips and smoked deli sausage bc thats what i had. it turned out great! I'll make again.

koshercook @cook_3513207
This is a great, flavorful dish. For the meats, I used chicken cutlets and spicy Moroccan merguez, which gave it a nice kick.

laldridge77 @cook_3528528
This recipe only got ★★★ because the thyme overpowered the entire dish. I should have just put a dash of thyme. It ruined the dish.

leslie.podliska @cook_3542820
Doubled the spices and garlic. Served with sriracha on the side. Simple and good!

lolcats @cook_3561535
Looks like barf & jessiepoo, learn how to type. I can have my own opinion if I want, it doesn't make me rude.

lydjy @cook_3574453
incredible yall!!! this taste even better than the jumbalaya Iv had in New Orleans!!! my whole family loved it too!!!

milksteakneggs @cook_3632972
I made this for dinner tonight. overall I thought it was pretty good. it turned out a little more mushy than I wanted. I will attempt this again but next time I'm going to cook the rice seperately.

mvwood @cook_3667927
I substituted 1 sausage link and bag of shrimp fr or the 1pount of meat. I used several dashes of slap yo momma seasoning instead of the included seasoning and it was a little salty but delicious none the less.

pammyfu32 @cook_3714904
I've made this over and over since I found the recipe. Love it love it love it!

nuajaxfc @cook_3701865
I think its kinda weird that in the instructions half of the ingredients are not mentioned.....it never says where you add the meat or cayenne pepper etc etc.....

ponymom27 @cook_3735780
I added chicken, and shrimp. I used beef smoked sausage and added tomato juice. I used rice I already had in the house my hubby like to call it Korean rice since it is a rice I serve often and I am Korean. and instead of 1 cup of rice I used 2 and my family thought it was the second best kind of food I have ever made. it was awesome. it was soon good it only lasted one night.

Randy Mortland @cook_3775548
It was real easy to make. I added a little more rice then it called for. But very delicious.

sean3172 @cook_3817088
Thanks, this was fab. only mistake i made was to use brown rice instead of white. takes a kot longer to cook. will definitely do it again.

serroro @cook_3820321
Simple, but has great taste. I left out the celery and butter one time, but still tastes pretty good. :-)

stallworthr @cook_3864874
Zatarain's who? This recipe is awesome! Even tastes great after warming up in micro. I wanted to wait till I had to reheat to give a proper review. I used Chicken broth instead of WW, Fire Roasted Garlic Tomatoes, Sweet Onion, Whole Grain Brown Rice and Andouille sausage. It tastes so good. Everything tastes better made from scratch. Try this Recipe! :detective

tamara22 @cook_3889162
I added more sausage, veggies and broth than the recipe called for. the family loved it. served with corn bread. my boyfriend demands i make this again!

tastemore @cook_3894182
My family loved it. I did skip
h the red & green pepper, instead of celery I used 1/4 tsp of celery salt and a dash of garlic flakes instead of crushed garlic. The taste is fantastic.

timbochef @cook_3913380
ammmmmaaaazing recipe. easy to make and the outcome was well worth it ~(o.o)~

titus0 @cook_3916372
substituted the green bell pepper for bananna peppers. really evened out the color contrast and added that extra bit of "eye-candy" that people find dramatic.

todell @cook_3920096
I use, shrimp, chicken, and Turkey kielbasa. I cook my chicken in garlic and Creole seasoning. My family doesn't like celery or peppers, so I use diced toms with green chilies and one with onion. I've only ever used instant rice and chicken broth(equal parts) and we add okra, which I love the most and make it more authentic. the only spice except garlic I use is Creole it's a combination of many spices and that way I can make it mild or really spice it up. I like mine spicier than the rest so I sprinkle it on top of my serving. I do every thing in one frying(deep) and it's assembled and cooked in less than 30 mins.

wannabemasterchef @cook_3956929
This was my first attempt at making jambalaya for my Louisiana husband and it came out great! I used smoked turkey sausage since he doesn't eat pork but it still tasted great! Very easy recipe, will making this again!

zeppechic @cook_3984909
Love love love this! My goto jambalaya recipe that my whole family will eat! :ohyeaah
