these were very good. I used the first group of spices that JBean87 used, but added salt and pepper also. these will be great summer time fries to pair with anything on the grill.

fantastic recipe. did a littke twist by using garlic, grated ginger, grates onion and chilki powder. served with beef gravy. my husband wants to propose to me again after that meal. thanks ~(o.o)~

This is very simple you can put what ever you like on your taste buds... Great for kids to do (don't let them cut the potatoes) they can feel like a big help

What a versatile recipe! I didn't have cajun seasoning so I used 1/4 tsp each of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, chipotle chile powder, and cumin. It was excellent! You could make a savory theme with thyme, marjoram, and rosemary; or Indian with curry, fennel, and cardamom; or Italian with parsley, basil, and oregano! This recipe should be amended with the instruction to scrub the potatoes first, just in case someone doesn't know. My potatoes came out really brown--when I make it again, I will probably bake 15 minutes each side. The only downside of this recipe is how long it takes, after you figure in pre-heat time. It's great, though, if you are cooking something else at the same time.
