Baking your own pumpkin is so easy, and can save a lot of money. I don't usually put water in the pan though. For extra festivity, try subbing Eggnog for the milk.

This was a first for me, using real pumpkin. Turned out great. The family went crazy over them and they ate both pies in less then a day! :police

Allways wanted to try pumpkin pie so I decided I'll try this recipe. Turned out great and I love them, had to make my own pumpkin spice as I couldn't get it pre-made here in the UK, also mashing the pumpkin is very hard work and couldn't get it as smooth ad I would of liked, but a very nice pie and will definitely be making it for Christmas aswell.
