used to have my mom make these all the time when i was growing up.. we used the cheaper smaller biscuts and it was like a donut factory with a few cans opened

I find this to be perfectly fine recipe. Especially for the tight budget minded. It fits the bill and is way cheaper than buying Duncan Donuts or Krispy Kremes. And it saves time without the waiting for the dough to rise 2-3 times before baking. they are both made of the same if not similar ingredients. So, cut the semantics and get practical. :detective

So easy and delicious! I used the top of an emptied oil bottle to make the holes and they tured out picture perfect and tasted amazing. Thank you for the recipe =)

My mom made this as an after football game treat! She'd roll then in sugar & cinnamon and make homemade hot chocolate! Yum!

We grew up eating these. You can use the cheaper, canned biscuits as well. We dust ours with powdered sugar while hot. yummy!

these are great you can use any canned biscuit, my wife has made these for me since we got married in 1984 mostly with buttermilk biscuits.

For something so ridiculously quick and easy, they were really yummy! I did add cinnamon to my sugar, and it really made 'em sparkle!! :nod
