Second time baking these. Once last night and again this morning. They don't last long in this house! I double the batch.

Thise were exactly what I was looking! I got about a dozen medium sized rolls. They were so soft and delish, I will definitely make again.

Good, but mine turned into hockey pucks after an hour. Might be best to use yeast in the next batch. :positive

These took me back to my childhood! My mother used to make these using the leftover pie pastry. Her recipe was simpler, but the taste was the same. She rolled out the pastry, spread butter just to the edge, sprinkled cinnamon and sugar, then rolled it up. Waiting for it to chill in the refrigerator was a torment! After that, she would slice it and bake. They smelled sooo good! She called them Pinwheels. At Christmas, she used red and green sugar.
These taste very similar! Thank you for the memories!!! :-)
