Made this recipe but used 1/2 c apple cider vinegar and 1/2 c apple juice and some honey on top instead. I broiled it for 5 min at the end to brown it up. It was great!

My guy loved it...me too! Made a few alterations: added half a diced onion, only used 1 teaspoon of oregano, added a Tablespoon of fennel seed and teaspoon of ginger.

Third time making this recipe. Family loves the unique flavors. I use every ingredient in recipe and add sweet potatoes because we love them. Fantastic recipe, wonderful flavors, will definitely make again and again :positive :beer :hungry

Lovely balanced flavour in the pork, not too sweet and not too herby. Very simple to prepare. I accidentally bought boneless pork loin, whoops! I think a bone-in roast would have been nicer, will certainly get the right one next time, but it still turned out tasty. Seared the loin with garlic powder before adding to crockpot. I was in a hurry (lazy) so i left the skins on the apples :-[ good fiber, hahah. Will try this again, thanks my dear, and Strongbow alchoholic cider worked brilliantly!

Made, mine with loin instead of bone in, the aroma of apples and cider filled the house can't wait to dig in.
