wow!! I have made this recipe quite a few times now. I recommend adding a little extra apple than the recipe calls for as it really goes well and complements the flavours beautifully. I also add some zuchinni. but tonight I tried a different twist. once everything was cooked I drained the juices and added some run of the mill chicken gravy powder to turn it into a sauce.. I seperated the chicken and put the veg into a baking dish with more almonds on top and baked them at high heat to crisp them up. I served it up like a roast with gravy and it was absolutely delicious. everyone loved it!!! the flavours are amazing!!! perfect Sunday dinner. thankyou!!

my husband loved it. he went back for seconds and asked me to cook once a week. the combination of flavors are brilliant! !!! sorry I forgot to take a picture it was gone fast ill try to remember next time
