we don't get the Pillsbury products down here, would a plain scone dough work oops sorry its similar to your biscuits, possibly a puff pastry but might not be dense enough..

Any yeast dough will work! In US we have Rhodes Yeast Rolls (frozen dough in individual roll amounts). Just thaw, and use. Let rise, work the recipe and then bake. Voila! HTH!
